One of the objectives of this programme is to produce prospect graduates who are capable to communicate with various levels of consumers as well as to lead or work together in a team.

The main precedence of this programme is to allow future graduates to professionally utilize their knowledge regarding the principle and practicum of computer science with the addition of multimedia skills. Moreover, prospect graduates' ability and skills to establish interactive multimedia application in the field of industry, education, business and research are synchronize and match the requirement set by standardize specification, analysis, planning, structure and documentation.

Furthermore, future graduates speak volumes of highly motivated individuals; portray excellent discipline, practice fine ethics and able to adapt to wide variety of situation. Due to the evolving nature of computer technology, this programme intends to generate future graduates who are capable to independently acquire computer knowledge and skills continuously without further supervision. In addition, this programme provides channel to variety fields of work that potential graduates are qualified to employ such as consultancy, communication business, networking, software developer and advertising. This option is a valuable opportunity for future graduates to succeed in various fields and not only based on regular wage earners.

This programme offers a three years study plan which focused on religious knowledge, programming, multimedia, mathematics, network as well as computer.

Entry Requirements

  • Entry with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV)

  • Passed SPM / SPMV with 3 credits inclusive of:
    • Bahasa Melayu
    • Mathematics
    • Any other one (1) subject
  • Pass in History.
  • + Additional Information

  • Diploma will be awarded by UTM during the convocation at UTM Skudai
