ANTI RASUAH (AMAR) PAHANG: “AMAR PAHA

The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Program with the Pahang Anti-Corruption Student Force (AMAR) was held at Agro Resort Semuji, Kuantan. This program was organized by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Pahang in collaboration with LKPP Corporation Sdn. Bhd as an effort to strengthen the culture of integrity and anti-corruption awareness among the younger generation, especially students. A total of 155 students and 12 AMAR coordinators from six higher learning institutions around Pahang participated in the program with the theme AMAR Pahang Sepakat Teguh dan Pahat Minda Perangi Rasuah”. The program, which began on 11 October 2025, began with a motivational camp session featuring guest speaker, former MACC officer, Tuan Zakaria bin Taib. He emphasized the moral responsibility of each individual in creating a transparent and integrity-based society while opening up space for students to better understand their role in supporting the country's anti-corruption efforts. Participants also participated in several additional activities with integrity elements such as the Anti-Corruption Explorace which was carried out around the Agro Resort Semuji camp area. The closing ceremony was officiated by the Director of the Pahang MACC, KPKPj Mohd Shukor bin Mahmud, who called on students to be at the forefront of the fight against corruption. Organizing a program like this is part of the strategy to strengthen comprehensive corruption prevention efforts, by focusing on the development of identity and awareness among young people. The involvement of various educational institutions also reflects a shared commitment towards forming a corruption-free community ecosystem in addition to being a continuous platform in strengthening the role of AMAR as the main driver of the anti-corruption agenda on campus.
