The programme aims to provide students with the opportunity to acquire theories and skills in account, finance and taxation. Along with studying the necessary theories, students will also equip with the ability to adopt and apply the knowledge in real life situation to meet the demands and challenges in this field.

Entry Requirements

  • Option 1: Entry with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

  • Passed SPM with 3 credits inclusive of:
    • Bahasa Melayu
    • Mathematics
    • Any other one (1) subject
  • Obtained a pass in English
  • Option 2: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

  • A pass in STPM with grade ā€œCā€ (GP 2.00) in any subject, and credit in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics, and a pass in English at SPM level
  • Option 3: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

  • A pass in STAM with grade MAQBUL and credit in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics, and a pass in English at SPM level
  • Option 4: Entry with Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)

  • A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with credit in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics, and a pass in English
  • Option 5: Entry with Pre-Diploma / Certificate / Matriculation / Other Equivalent

  • A pass in Pre-Diploma / Certificate / Matriculation or any other equivalent from any institution that has been accredited by MQA and recognised by the Malaysian Government

Career Pathway

Graduate of this programme are able to pursue the following careers:

  • Accountant

  • Tax / Finance Consultant
  • Financial Controller

  • Entrepreneur

Graduates can continue their studies to:

  • Professional studies such as ACCA, MICPA or CIMA;
  • Degree level

at any local or international IPTA/S.
