Introduction

The Student Affairs Department of Widad University College (WUC) and Widad College (WC) is the heart of student management for the entire university system, fulfilling its duties, responsibilities, and functions under the provisions of the Private Higher Education Act 1996 and its amendments under the control of the Vice-Chancellor of WUC.

The Student Affairs Department is crucial in assisting WUC & WC in producing graduates with high soft skills (KI) and exemplary personalities to meet global needs.

This role is carried out through its core functions, Student Development and Leadership, and Student Facilities and Services.

Accommodation Unit

Objectives

  • Provide more efficient, trustworthy, and practical services
  • Provide comfortable, conducive accommodation and efficiently manage student welfare and safety
  • Provide and improve basic facilities and dormitory infrastructure for student comfort
  • Make the dormitory a second learning center and a catalyst for student's academic and personal excellence.

Services

  • Provide accommodation for new and returning students
  • Ensure dormitory equipment & facilities are sufficient and in good condition
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance of the dormitory
  • Assist in solving student problems
  • Manage rent, electricity, water, and other accommodation-related payments
  • Student welfare in accommodation
  • Plan and implement student activities.
