Pahang State-Level Basic Scouting First
Aid Programme 2026

The Basic Scouting First Aid Program is a training course designed to equip Scouts with the skills needed to handle emergencies. Key objectives include introducing Scouts to basic first aid skills, fostering leadership, self-reliance, and teamwork in problem-solving, and helping them meet the requirements for proficiency badges (such as the First Aid Badge). The program featured theoretical briefings on first aid principles and personal safety; demonstrations on treating wounds and burns, bandaging techniques, and casualty transport; and practical group simulations of emergency scenarios. Organized in collaboration with the Pahang State Rover Scouts and Widad Rover Scouts, the event drew over 600 Scouts from across Pahang and was supported by the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (Pahang).
